Your gift number can be found on the back of your card, just underneath the cover. It is also included on your 16-digit eGift Card transaction receipt.
Numerology gift number 1 people are creative and ambitious go-getters. They are motivated and confident, but can be self-centered at times. They are best compatible with gift numbers 2, 3, and 7.
Gift number number 4 people are reliable and practical. They have determination as their spiritual gift and are able to communicate well with others.
On the back of the card
If you have a physical gift card or merchandise card, the number and PIN are printed on the back of the card. You can also find these numbers in your email if you received an eGift card. You should only use websites that are affiliated with the card company. Otherwise, you could be redirected to a scam site. If you receive a call from someone who says they want to pay for something with your card, it’s probably a scam.
To check a gift card balance, customers enter the last 16 digits of their gift card number and the four-digit PIN printed on the back of their card. They can also scan the QR code printed on the back of their card with their smartphone camera. The system is secured with SSL to ensure the safety of personal and financial information.
On the front of the card
The gift code is a 16 to 25-digit number located on the front of the card. It usually appears as alphanumeric, but can be all numeric as well. The PIN and CVV are not part of the gift code, but they are needed for security purposes.
When checking your balance online, enter both the Card Number and the four-digit PIN, exactly as they appear on your card. You can also check your balance in-store by presenting your physical card to a Sephora sales associate.

On the eGift card
Most eGift cards have a code or barcode that is presented at checkout. This will vary depending on the card type and store. Some eGift cards can be used online, and others will only work in-store. Often, the card will also include details on how to check the balance online, so that you can know if there is any money left to spend.
E-gift cards are great for freeing up space in your wallet, as they don’t need to be physically present. If you are using an e-gift card in-store, simply bring your email with the barcode and code to the cashier at checkout.
You can also check the e-gift card balance on your mobile app or the online Square dashboard. To do so, navigate to Reporting in the Navigation menu and select Transactions. You can search for a transaction by the receipt number or the e-gift card’s blue 16-digit number that begins with 604 in order to view its details.
On the receipt
If you don’t have the activation receipt or a portion of the gift card number is missing from your wallet (we always advise treating gift cards as cash), look for a store receipt that shows all the purchases made on that visit. Though you might not find the full gift card number on this line item, the location of the store, date and time of purchase, and the dollar value loaded onto the gift card should be enough to help a customer service representative locate your card number.
If you don’t have a receipt, go to the grocery store where you purchased the card and speak with a customer service representative. They may be able to pull up your order on the computer and print out a receipt for you. If not, they might be able to run the gift card transaction report and locate your card number based on your description. They might even be able to help you with a return or exchange if your gift is defective.
