League of Legends AD Carry

League of Legends AD Carry

The AD Carry is a very difficult position in League of Legends. It requires a lot of mechanical prowess to make sure you can be safe and still kill the enemy.

As MSI 2023 approaches, let’s take a look at who is the best pro ADC in the game right now.

1. Jackeylove

League’s best ADC players have a special place in the hearts of many fans. These players are the ones that stoke the flames of the league’s most popular role, and they can make or break the destiny of their teams.

Jackeylove is a player that fits this description perfectly. He is a marksman that carries his team on his back, and he’s one of the most exciting players to watch in the entire world of esports.

He made his debut in the LPL in 2018 with Invictus Gaming smite tier list, and he’s been on a roll ever since. Now, he’s the leading bot laner for TOP Esports and is poised to fill Uzi’s shoes as the new king of the region. His game statistics this year speak for themselves, and he’s undoubtedly one of the best players in the world.

2. Uzi

While he might not be the flashiest player on this list, Uzi has been one of the best ADCs in the world since his debut and is known for his safe yet effective play. The Korean marksman is also a legend on marksman champions and even high skill cap picks like Jinx.

It took him a little bit of time to find his feet after leaving the DRX roster but once he did he became the main reason for EDG’s success at the 2022 World Championship. He thrived in the team’s do-or-die matches and is an unstoppable force in a one-on-one situation.

Uzi is also one of the most mechanically advanced players and knows how to maximize the potential of marksman champions in the bottom lane. He has pentakills on most of the popular ADCs in the game and has a vast knowledge of the role.

3. Doublelift

Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng is a retired League of Legends competitor who dominated the North American scene with stunning mechanical ability. He’s a former World Champion and widely considered one of the best ADCs of all time, with an impeccable understanding of the game’s mechanics.

Doublelift was raised in Mission Viejo, California and learned to play video games at an early age thanks to his brother’s hand-me-down desktop PC. He spent his youth playing esports titles such as DotA, WoW, and Heroes of the Storm.

He would eventually move to League of Legends with Epik Gamer in 2011. It was there that he gained fame for his Blitzcrank, and he quickly moved from support to AD carry. He would later join CLG as their starting ADC in 2013. He remains a prominent content creator, streamer, and host of the weekly League of Legends podcast.

4. Pray

Pray doesn’t have the international accomplishments of the other players on this list, but he’s still a force to be reckoned with. He comes into this year’s Worlds as the strongest mechanical AD Carry in the West, averaging 5.7 KDA and 727 DPM across both of his lane phases.

He’s also a clutch player, showing off his amazing teamfighting skills on several occasions in his career. He’s a main reason why EDG funnels gold into Viper.

He thrived last season when the meta focused mainly on mid-jungle combinations, and if things go his way this year, he’ll be unstoppable. He’s great on Kai’Sa, Tristana, and Xayah, all champions that are surprisingly good in this year’s meta. He can even pick up a few pentakills on top of that.

5. Nilah

Nilah’s kit makes her a fun and aggressive ADC champion with strong all-in potential. She can quickly kill enemies in lane and be a real nuisance in team fights like Tower Sieges and Baron/Dragon duels.

She also does good damage if she’s paired up with an aggressive support that can help her pressure the enemy ADC and poke them down. Mages are bad matchups for her as they can easily one-shot her with their CC.

2022 has been a pretty good year for unique League of Legends champion designs. Riot started it off with unorthodox, skillshot-reliant marksman Zeri and life-saving enchanter support Renata Glasc and then followed it up with the deadly Void Queen Bel’veth. Now, the company has added yet another unorthodox melee ADC champion to the mix with Nilah.
